The HFFR (Halogen Free Flame-Retardant) cable granules extrusion machine is designed for producing granules used in the manufacturing of cables that require flame-retardant properties without containing halogens. This machine melts the raw materials, typically polymers along with flame-retardant additives, and extrudes them through a die to form granules of specific size and shape. Overall View
Halogen-free flame-retardant cable material is also known as environmentally friendly cable material, it is an organic polymer composite material mixed with polyethylene or other non-halogenated alkyl and low hydro silicate, modified vinyl ester, esterified resin, and hot melt adhesive. This product has the advantages of heat resistance, low temperature resistance, UV resistance, low smoke and halogen-free, and excellent electrical properties. It is one of the most developed and applied polymer composite cable materials in the world.

2. Production process flow
Polyolefin blend resin, flame retardant AL(OH)3, Mg(0H)2, and auxiliary materials are mixed in proportion and enter the transition silo. Then, after being mixed and plasticized by an internal mixer, they are forced-fed into the parallel twin-screws for processing. After secondary plasticizing, mixing, shearing and dispersing, the material enters the lower-stage large-diameter single-screw extruder from melting, where it undergoes low speed, high pressure and cooling to complete extrusion and granulation within controlled temperature. The granulation system adopts an air-cooled die surface hot-cut granulation system.
3.Equipment process flow
Raw materials → Compounding system → Kneader → Bucket conveyor → Conical twin screw force feeder → GS series upper stage twin screw extruder →Connectors → GSD single screw extruder → Hot cutting die face auxiliary system → Cooling System → Air-cooled vibrating screen → Silo
