extrusion lamination plant

Extrusion lamination is a unique process for producing packaging materials. This process takes place in a factory where large contraptions are used to mash different layers of paper together to create a form of solid and colored packaging that we might use every day for things we purchase and consume.

At GSmach’s extrusion lamination factory, the process begins with melting a type of plastic known as polyethylene. That melted plastic is squeezed in between two layers of paper or plastic film, creating a strong bond. Next, the sheets run through rollers to flatten them out and make them even. Lastly, the materials are cooled to cut the products to the correct size for packaging.

Benefits of using extrusion lamination in packaging production

There are various advantages of using extrusion lamination in packaging. One of the biggest benefits is that it strengthens and toughens up packaging materials. This also implies that d products can be stably preserved and carried. Furthermore, extrusion lamination permits the packaging to be print-coated with colorful designs, thus adding esthetic appeal to products for the consumer.
